All of the services provided by Unconstipated Kids are designed to address toileting challenges from a holistic, child-centered perspective. Our occupational therapists (OTs) specialize in understanding how socio-emotional regulation, sensory processing, and neurodivergent experiences which might influence a child’s ability to succeed with toileting.
Each evaluation begins with a thorough review of your child’s medical, social, and emotional histories, followed by a detailed assessment of sensory regulation, motor skills, and overall development. We focus on creating individualized care plans that support both the physical and emotional needs of your child, ensuring that they are well-equipped to overcome toileting challenges.
Our OTs excel in helping children manage emotional and sensory dysregulation, supporting them through techniques that improve body awareness, sensory processing, and emotional control—critical components for neurodivergent children or those experiencing high levels of stress or anxiety related to toileting.
Therapy Sessions
- Initial Evaluation: $595 (2 hours)
- Follow-up Therapy: $205 (50 minutes)

The initial evaluation must be conducted in person, but follow-up sessions can be done virtually to provide greater convenience based on your child’s needs.
What to Expect:
- Referral Form – Occupational therapy services in Texas allow direct access to complete an evaluation. In order to complete any further sessions beyond the first session together, we’ll need a signed order from a prescribing provider (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Medical Doctor, or Chiropractor).
- Insurance Reimbursement – We are an out-of-network provider. Check with your insurance provider about your reimbursement rates for out-of-network services. After each session, you’ll receive a detailed superbill for submission to your insurance company.
- Client Portal – To manage your child’s care, we use a secure, HIPAA-compliant portal. We recommend downloading the PtEverywhere app to stay updated on communications, documents, and appointments.
